Moms that have been induced.. can you tell me about your experience, did you use pitocin to get it…

I was induced with pitocin it was a long process. I started with pitocin but my cervix was behind my daughter head I has to take 4 sets of pills to thin my cervix. I started having contractions the next day, (I was in labor for 3 days contractions started on day 2) my water broke on its own and had my daughter that next morning. The only bad thing with the pitocin my bp went sky high and my daughter had Jaundice idk if that's the reason why she had it but we both had to stay an extra day. We spent a total of 6 days in the hospital and are finally going home today

I was induced twice. Both times were very different. First time the pit a pill inside my cervix at night and I woke up in labor. Then they gave me pitocin to keep things moving. I had her a few hours later. The second time they didn’t put the pill in my cervix and just gave me pitocin. It was horrible. They didn’t give me enough pitocin so it took forever and then they had to use this balloon thing to make me dilate and it was HORRIBLE!!!!!

Pitocin and then labored for 12 hours and pushed like 2 times... it was great! Now with my daughter.... I went to 41+2 and she had a bowel movement and had to have a respiratory team in the room with us and an iv in her head and she had jaundice.... I’m voting for induction this time 🤞🏻
