the c section doesnt hurt its the pain after. they keep u up on meds. its less painful if u stay on top of ur meds. i had 2. just be prepared to get up & walk the nxt day & each day that goes by it gets easier as long as u take care of urself & make sure ur gonna have help at home so u can take it easy. hope that helps
@aussiekiss, thank you!!! It’s not for sure I’ll be getting one but the dr has mentioned it. I have two weeks left for the baby to turn. He’s still breech. I’m super scared though, I’ve never had one. Do you remember how long your healing took?
@mamabree92, mine was the same way I had my breech baby at 38 weeks. The nurse told me there wasn’t much of a chance of them turning at this point but water like crazy. Try that my fluid levels weren’t high enough for him to turn no matter how much water I was drinking. But they weren’t low.
The pain after hurts the most. The best suggestion I can give you is to walk walk walk as soon as they allow you to. I didn’t listen the first one I had and I was miserable my second one I walked as much as I could and was feeling better within a few days. I will be having my 4th in February and will walk as much as I can again. Ask the hospital for a belly band they help a lot too. I know some hospitals don’t offer them to you unless you ask for it I didn’t know about it with my first but got one with my second and third. They’re amazing! Good luck to you!
@mandeerodriguez, thank you so much for all that advice. I will definitely ask for one. I’ve never heard of the bands. I will make sure I am walking as much as I can.
@mamabree92, no I had a c section. It would have killed him if I had him breech by the way his legs were stuck. Still healing though it’s still pretty tender hopefully yours turn have you asked your doctor about them trying to force turn
@km416, oh okay, I was confused . 3 months later and it’s still sensitive🙀? I’m a surrogate and the parents didn’t consent to the ECV aka turn the baby. I’m hoping he turns though. Not much longer left, so I lost all hope 😩

@km416, yeah my fluid is good too. I don’t know why he won’t turn. I’m already 38 weeks. So you had your baby breeched? No c section?
