No you need to have some sort of income that taxes are taken out of to file taxes.

Taxes is just money that was taken out your checks that they give back to you at the beginning of the year.

If you were married you would file jointly on his taxes. Did you work at all this year? Even if you worked for a week. If you got a paycheck you will receive a w2 form and file taxes.

Yes you can file taxes even if you havent worked all year. My father used to work for irs in Austin so I know. You wont get as much as if you were working but you will get the minimum.

So if baby is born right around tax season then you would have to wait to file till following year. The other option is someone to claim you as a dependent.
