Took my little guy to the dr today for his 4 month checkup...dr said the back of his head is a little flat, he recommended that he sleep day/night on his tummy..anyone else ever had a dr to tell them this??He said he’s at the age now to know to turn his head to where it’s suppose to be. Just want some of yalls opinions. I’m ok with nap time on his belly since I can sit and watch him. But night time, I’m very hesitant about that.
I've put my baby to bed a few times on his belly and nothing has happened. The only time he moves is when he's waking up and by that time I hear him and get him
My nephew had a flat head. He went to PT for a while, to strengthen neck muscles, she kept him on his tummy or upright as much as possible during the day, but his was too bad and they had to get the helmet. After a few months of that his head is perfect!
Yes if you sleep on one side for to long it makes it flat .
My daughter wouldn't sleep any other way but on her stomach from birth and she's fine, I just kept an extra eye on her.
