My dad gets mad cause I said not to pop my daughter any other day he doesn't pop her now today he does but gets mad when I say not to pop her. Popping doesn't solve the problem. I hate when ppl thinking beating solve it & it doesn't not all the time

I’m sorry but only my husband and I have the right to hit our child- if we decide it is needed. I’ll be damned if any one else puts a hand on my son whether you’re a grandparent, relative, friend etc. No way in hell. ESPECIALLY if I’m under the same roof!! You can easily call me over and I will handle disciplining of my child.
Keep standing up for yourself and your little one! You are 100% right! She’s still young and learning. He needs patience. Like you said- hitting doesn’t solve anything.
