Honestly you can get an infection from a cat bite. It happened to my dad. Its something that just happens sometimes with cat bites. So if she got an infection its very possible

@stephaniemora17 no he doesn't hold a job because he doesn't like to work he's lazy as hell and she comes up with the excuse that she can't work but she's perfectly capable of working those kids deserve way better than that... I would never actually call CPS on them because I love my niece and nephew too much to have them put in foster care...

Someone not being able to keep a job doesn’t make them a horrible parent. Someone who threatens, and shames other people and teacher their children that that is okay... @stephaniemora17 and they are both horrible parents because her husband doesn't know how to keep a damn job they've been living with us for 6 almost 7 months they lose every place they get because they don't know how to pay their bills and because he loses his job we have helped them out so many times it's sad really like if you don't know how to take care of yourselves and why do you have kids?

@breewayt had to of been cuz when my cat got scared he scratched me pretty deep and it didn't get infected. My kitty will move his tail up n down, make them mad sounds n walk away before anything than he'll scratch or bite if still bother him he will scratch you. He's only fit few time cuz he ran our the door n its mean but he went under the car n grabbed his tail cuz I knew he turn n bite be so I grabbed the scruff of his neck n pulled him out and carried him normal while makin them mad sounds giving me looks

@breewayt Yep, I agree. You don't like the animals than don't go over. But to be so dramatic over a bite. That's a so not called. For I play with my kitty and never gotten an infection and neither have my boys... He gets lil to excited when play and don't mean to be rough. Lol

I would have done the same thing and tolled her she's not welcomes any more. Animals are like our children

They won't do anything unless she wants them to. So don't worry. & She could have, but my uncle did that after he got bit & nearly died from infection. My aunt found him passed out like two days after the bite & got him to the hospital. An infection is serious business.

@lifewithlynniejade88 yeah thats exactly what I'm afraid of if they take my cat I will never forgive her for this she's definitely overreacting about it she could have kept it clean and whatnot with at Home Products

My cousins dog bit someone, very minor, & the guy called the cops & the cops took the dog & put it to sleep. That's probably just Arkansas for ya though. Lol just don't be upset with her over it. It definitely wasn't her fault.

Like the above commenter said, bacteria can develop anytime & she was right to go to the hospital. I definitely would have! No need in making them leave, ur cat bit her & if she wanted to she could get y'all in trouble & the cat put to sleep. So I'd be sucking up to her right about now.

Also, if your cat is sick, you want to know. My dog is extremely well kept, up to date on all shots and preventatives and everything. Took him to get fixed and his preop blood work showed heartworm. Wouldn't have had any idea until his next check up

Getting an infection isn't over reacting. And bacteria can develop at anytime. He could have just cleaned his butt and then bit and the bacteria from his butt get In the wound.

The bacteria from it's teeth probably gave her an infection. It can be deadly honestly. My uncle had to stay in the hospital for over a week with a bone infection from a dog bite & they said any animal can carry bacteria in their mouths.
