Has anyone used evening primrose oil to help induce labor?? Did it work??

I took it orally with my second and.I think.it worked to soften my cervix and dilate

Yeah i have taken it and it only softens your cervix but in my case it really helped me go into labor as well with a lot of walking I took one by mouth and popped a pin hole in two and put them inside of me i went from 2 in a half to 4cm quick I think I made a post about this lol

I feel like it worked for me. I was induced at 38 weeks (planned, due to medical reasons) so I started taking it early hoping to make the induction easier. Hard to say if it helped or if my body would have been ready early anyway, but when I went in to be induced my cervix was very soft, 80% effaced and 2.5 cm dilated. So I’m inclined to say it helped...

It doesn't induce labor. It's supposed to soften the cervix. Didn't work for me though.
