The past week and a bit, Faye will only eat if she can feed herself, so I have no problem with that.…

Try doing aeroplanes while your feeding her, or feed her and let her hold her fave toy or something the teddy/doll and feed her take turns , tell her her teddies gonna eat it all up if she doesn’t 😘xxx

I've tired doing the aeroplanes thing and she just looks at me like I'm stupid and takes the spoon off me aha. I've tried that too and she just tips it out anyways and used to toy to try and clean it up. She starts to eat it no bother and has been fine eating herself until the past week or so, now when she decides she doesn't want anymore or whatever she just chucks it. And if I take it away from her when I think she's just picking at it she gets upset and starts eating it again. Xxxxxxxx

Oh god I haven’t a clue then🙈🙈, think you just have a fussy, no appetite child 🙈, I wouldn’t worry about the not eating much though if that’s what it is, they sure eat when their hungry , unless it’s been a long while then I’d make a doc appointment or maybe do that anyways and see what’s up or something, or even ring your health visitor seee what she advises xxxxxxx

She has been off her milk aswell. Just being fussy and when I mentioned it she said she's getting older so that's what it could be with the milk. But she's due to come next week so I'll ask her then. Xxxxxxx

My daughter and son do it dont think the is really anything you can do just something they go through and eventually stop I personally dont even bother using a plate or bowl with either of mine now just put it on the trey haha Xx @jessr19895x

Must be an age thing as Charlie’s only a month behind and just started doing this all of a sudden. He’s also suddenly refusing to eat any mash potato or chips. When I do his dinner he eats whatever meat he has and refuses to touch anything else, driving me insane as 2 sausages for a dinner just isn’t enough! X

@jo.wilcox Faye's getting like that too if there's veg on her plate she will only eat that and leave all the rest. Proper picky aren't they aha x

Part and parcel of them feeding themselves! Lol. I don't mind a bit of mess but if Max starts being silly and throwing it, then I simply take it away. It's usually a sign he's had enough anyways.
