Ok I find this wierd.. When I was pregnant with my 2 daughters, I had a final ultrasound around this time to measure how big the baby is and approximately how much the baby will weigh. That was 8 years ago though. So I asked my ob when I would be getting my final ultrasound, and they said they don't do that anymore unless there's something wrong. So I don't understand why they don't do that anymore, everyone on here had one.. So how are they gonna know if the baby will be too big, or if the babies cord is wrapped around his neck, or if the baby is breached.. I know if their cord is wrapped around his neck the baby will show signs of distress. Is this a normal thing they do these days??

I said the same thing. I’m 14 weeks and haven’t had an ultrasound. When I asked the midwife she said that I’m not over 35 so I have to wait until I’m 18 weeks. Which makes no sense I’m high risk.
They didn't give me one. I had one ultrasound at 20 weeks.
I then had a 10lb baby, who wasn't breach, but was facing the wrong way...
I’m getting a 3rd ultrasound at 31 weeks and I have a midwife.. 🤷🏻♀️
I had an ultrasound with both of mine around 36 weeks. So idk.
They say too many ultrasounds can be harmful and I don't remember having an ultrasound around that time... I set up my own ultrasound appointment because I wanted to make sure all was well. Usually the doctor can tell if a baby is breech by feeling where the head is in your stomach.
I didn’t get a final ultrasound either. I thought it was weird as this is my first baby but I later learned that that is how things are done know. Sucks but its true.

So I talked with my dr today and she said they don't do 3rd trimester ultrasounds.. How do they know what position the baby is in then ?

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
I made it through the c - section ladies.. baby had the umbilical cord wrap around his neck..his heart stop but God saved my son ladies....#godisgood
so let's conversate how many kids does everyone have and do they want anymore I have 3 and no I don't want anymore
