You know what just ran across my mind ear piercing.... I feel like it's like something to do with friends at the mall when they get a little older and I'm afraid she'd gonna take the little ball out and choke ok it if I do it when she's small. When my friends where getting their ears pierced I had to get cartalage pircing at the top of my ear so that I wouldn't feel left out. What do you mom's think?

If you do allow her to go on her own, I suggest a tattoo shop to pierce her ears. Piercing guns are terrible for your ears, and also cannot be sanitized.
I'm going to wait until my daughters are old enough to make their own decision whether or not they want their ears pierced.
@badadvicemom yea I barely even wear earrings and I'm sure my mom got mine pierced when I was a baby I only wear my cartalage piercings
This was a big debate between my husband and me when I was pregnant with our daughter. He wanted to do it right away, but I disagreed. I finally got him to agree that we should wait until she's old enough to make the choice to get them pierced and take care of them by herself. I feel like it should be a coming of age thing.
I'm waiting until my daughter is old enough to ask. I had my ears pierced young and hated them. Never wore them after like 5th grade. It would be more momentous to wait until she can be excited or like you said, til she can go with friends.

How do you ladies feel about a baby getting her ears pierced? My friend got her daughters ears pierced and she's 2 months old. Oh I completely agree. I want my daughter to ask me one day to get them done when she’s old enough to take care of it and pick out her own earrings.
