Is it okay to give prune juice to a 6 week old for constipation?

@kkmamax3, I gave her the oz already. She took it wth no problem. We will see if this works! I hope so! Cause she's already on reflux medicine, gerber soothe drops, and the drops haven't worked

@mumstasin, her tummy will get the rice formula. And you can give her up to 1 oz.

@scx327, I started giving my daughter formula with rice starch for her acid reflux and I'm sure it has clogged her up. She grunts and pushes so hard! She turns red and let's out a scream. I will no longer be giving her that formula, but I'm trying to help relieve her for the time being!

Yes ! My LOs pedi recommend it when she was 4 weeks . She said either prune juice or apple juice .

I did it to my baby and it helped sooo much lol she was fine with it but if you ask your doctor, I'm sure they'll say no 🙄🙄 lol
