Postpartum question: I’ll be 4 weeks PP on Saturday. I wanted to see how I was healing after giving birth to a 9.4 lb baby, bad idea. I still have 2 stitches (thought they were supposed to dissolve) and red bumps where the stitches are going in, are the bumps normal? I could also still see my cervix and feel pressure when I’m up for too long. naturally I googled because I love torturing myself and now I’m freaked out. Hoping someone else went through this.

They normally do dissolve. Not all dissolve at the same time. And it takes about 6-8 weeks for your cervix to completely close and heal.

I’m sorry but I’m still not circumcising my son 🤷🏽‍♀️ and I don’t care what anyone has to say about it either cause it’s not right to me. That’s their decision to make.
