I think I have postpartum depression 😭

It's common after having kids. I've never experienced it, but I have a friend who did and i supported her through it

@charmed040309, i have no one right now. my son is at my moms house. my SO is pissed at me cause we can’t have sex where i’m still in pain but when we tried he would get pissed when i told him to stop cause it hurt. my M&FIL are pissed at me cause they think i broke something when i didn’t. so i have no one right now.

Take it from someone who knows, get to a psychiatrist and get on meds asap! I struggled with it for 18 months before seeking help, and ended up in a psych ward for 8 days.... If you feel the meds don't work, keep trying things until they do!

I'm not currently on them cause I'm pregnant, but if I feel like I am getting out of control again, I'm going to seek help again, and I hated taking meds, but I will because, it can get very dangerous if you don't!

@cassidy11 your so should be more understand. It takes a awhile for us to heal down there. Everyone else I wouldn't worry about except yourself and your son, which I know is easier said then done, but I promise you'll be okay

@cassidy11 and the right meds don't make you a zombie, there will be some side effects until your body adjusts, but you definitely would rather that instead of the alternative. Just tell them you need a anti depressant and anti anxiety that doesn't make you sleepy.

@charmed040309, i’m such a big hearted person that it literally upsets me when people are mad at me. i hate it. i wish i didn’t have such a big heart.
