Do you guys think getting your cervix checked for dilation makes you start dilating faster??

It helps some but not a lot , i found that walking and sex helped me dilate . I went into the hospital dilate 4cm when i had my son they made me walk for 2 hours dilated to 5 then they admitted me so walking helps !

Doctor won't check me at all because "it can irritate the cervix" .. doesn't want to rush anything. Understandable I guess 😑. All my doctors have told me the same thing, I always wonder if I am and want to be checked but I dont even hope anymore lol

Nope. Really checking it is a waste of time.

I think most doctors now are avoiding it. I haven’t heard anyone get checked so early on!

I got checked at 35 (last week)
