You might be able to tweak his sleeping schedule slowly. The more he sleeps during the day the better he will sleep at night. Just tweak what he already has going on and let him sleep a lot. The less he sleeps during the day and the more tired he is the more he is going to fight his sleep and he won’t sleep good.

@damiensmommy1117, yeah I thought the same thing! When my son was maybe 4 months old he wasn’t sleeping very good and I came across sleep regression on here and did a butt load of research on it and sleep and nap schedules and for his age 2-3 naps a day was perfect and his bed time was supposed to be around 7 but I pushed it to 745 because he likes to see my mom before going to bed. I always tried to keep him up late though so he would sleep. Once I changed what I was doing he actually went to bed when I wanted him to instead of fighting his sleep

I'm so glad you told me this, I definitely need to study up on this stuff. I know newborns have crazy sleep schedules, but I wanna be ready to transition him to a better sleep schedule as soon as possible, I'm freaking exhausted. Lol

@damiensmommy1117, so was I. If it wasn’t for the fact I live at home still idk what I would have done. I was able to sleep when he did and my mom helped me and brought me stuff every now and then lol my chores even got picked up too! Lol

Oh man I wish I was still living with my family, my fiance does NOT understand how much time and attention a baby needs. He has been irritating me more and more, everyday he asks me to do a bunch of stuff I probably won't be able to get to because I get maybe an hour of free time if my son will actually sleep in his swing for a bit.

@damiensmommy1117, mine was the same way. Something clicked in him one day we were at his house and Noah would go to sleep or stop crying. I got so overwhelmed I pushed the baby on him and he had to grab him real fast and I ran in his room and balled my eyes out and that was the day noahs dad was like “oh hey she really needs my help” Noah was 2 months old at this point 😒

I think about doing that sometimes, just handing the baby to him and letting him deal, but we live in a studio so there's nowhere for me to go and I can't bring myself to leave him inside alone. Also hearing him cry and not be soothed is the worst, not to mention my fiance would probably just lay him on the bed and ignore him because he is an emotionless robot sometimes.

@damiensmommy1117, oh geez. I couldn’t stand when Noah would cry. I handed him to my mom one time and said “fix him!” 😂

I put rice cereal in my breast milk for my daughter and she takes 3 naps. One is at 8am the other at noon and then one at 5pm then she gets bath and last bottle at 8pm and she's asleep til 4 or 5am so she sleeps 8-9hrs at night.

Then she wakes up at 7-8am the next morning. After she goes back to sleep at 5am
