Would a ectopic pregnancy cause a negative test? Literally went to the doctors today took a test that was negative...took a hot yesterday again negative. I'm having a period with no flow to it fills up a tampon but not a pad. Doctor said he couldn't find an issue. Extreme pelvic pain. Said it could be a cyst or an ectopic pregnancy. But would an ectopic pregnancy cause a negative ept? I was 2 days late. Then got this weird period
