Desperately need help with 100% weaning my son from the breast. He's been exclusively breastfed(no bottles/pumped milk) since he was six months old. He never took a pacifier and still won't. Currently he only breastfeeds to fall asleep. I need this habit broken so I can transition him to his crib. (We co-sleep currently. Please no negative comments about it.) Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated! So ready to get him weaned and my bed back! He won't sleep without a boob first or unless he's in the car. Trying to put him in the crib after he's asleep wakes him up and he screams. I'm not about to let him scream till he passes out either. We live in an apartment and if I can hear the neighbors baby they can hear mine...Not about to subject him or them to all of that.
@beemommyof3 it doesn't matter if it's a bed, the couch, a chair or whatever. If he's going to even take a nap he wants a boob first. Even applies when we aren't home and are out of the car.

Enjoying some fun in the sun ☀️
Don’t come for me about him not wearing a life jacket. I don’t want to hear it. He was fine 🙄
Curious to hear some answers on when you were able to put your babies in their cribs and they would just fall asleep on their own. I'm hearing a lot of 6 months old. I know every baby is different but still curious to hear other mom's answers 😁.
( my son is 5 months and currently we are still doing our bath then bottle routine in a dark room to get him to sleep. He will not just go to sleep if we don't do this).
I put Ky in his crib and left the room and I let him cry until he fell asleep. he hasn't been sleep ALL day so he's SUPER tired and fussy. he cried for about 15 min then fell asleep. is this right or wrong?
Can holding your newborn before and while they sleep create of habit of them needing to be held in order to fall and stay asleep? 😭 my son won't stay asleep unless I'm holding him. The minute I put him down he starts fidgeting and waking up.
Anybody baby won't sleep in their bassinet? Is their a way we can make it More comfortable? I was thinking taking a fuzzy blanket and tucking it under the lil mat that's in there because every time I set him down he wakes up right away.. But if I put him in bouncer he will stay asleep or in our bed he stays asleep but I really wanna stop the bed and start bassinet. Any recommendations?
Try giving him a cup see what heb like juice flavored water or milk
