@kkmamax3, I'm 17 and he's 18. So we're young. But we both work and have a lot going for us! And working on our apartment for early next year!
@lnkedupmommy, his mom has always disliked me no matter what the situation is. I've learned to live with it after 2 years of trying. But they rest of his family adores me, it could go either way with them. We don't know how they'd react
@johnsonabby757, I understand! I was 18 when I got pregnant. You really have to approve to them; that you got this, you will be a good mother, you will provide for this baby. But on the cool, it’s all about that baby, not matter what they say at the end of the day. I hope it all works out for you!
It did with me, and now we have our 3rd baby on the way and will be celebrating 3 years of marriage next month!
@johnsonabby757, yeah my issue was more with his mother aswell that lady never liked me, I’ve learned to not care because trying and trying to be civil it never worked, honestly have him announce it to his family doesn’t matter how at the end of the day.
@kkmamax3, I believe they will eventually come around but it just worries us because we are a younger set of parents so we need all the support we can get

My best advice is just to tell them, and let them deal with it in their own way.
They will come around but it might take some time.
My family didn’t come around till after I had my first baby. They were super pissed but I just let them deal with whatever issue they had cause either way, the baby is going to come if they approve or not. It’s up to you and your child’s father to make it work and approve their wrong💪🏻

@lnkedupmommy, That's what we've been thinking to stay on the positive side. But, now that I'm showing it's going to be hard to hide it for much longer. Most his family loves me besides his mom, but they all never had without marriage and stuff like that. So we're just super scared and don't know how to tell them because they are pretty judgmental

Unsupportive isn’t even the word over here! I’m going threw it now and honestly my babyfather announced it and I just simply ignore the remarks. I’m about to receive a blessing and don’t have time for negativity. Just think about ur baby now that’s all that really matters!
