Oh yes, the pads they give you are HUGE and are amazing. I only needed the huge pads for about 3 days after I gave birth and then I used Maxi pads. Oh and also ask for extra of the mesh underwear they're going to give you, it's SO comfy and perfect for those giant pads.

After labor: Ask for nipple cream and talk to a lactation consultant if you plan on breastfeeding, ask for extra pads right before you leave the hospital, don't be afraid to ask questions before, during, and after labor. The only stupid question is the one not asked.
