I know that babies shouldn’t wear a coat while in their car seat. But I have a 2 year old who obviously is still in a car seat, is it ok for her to wear one while in her seat? Or what age would you let them.
I am so incredibly grateful for my best friend. Last night she and I were in a car accident. I was driving and we got hit by a student driver. My car is totaled, I had to come out of pocket for a rental car. Both of my kids car seats were in the car and I’ve been stressing on how to buy new seats for them, she just told me that her and her husband bought us new car seats. I can’t stop crying.
Always amazed At the amount of seats that come into seat checks totally wrong. I did roughly 30 checks today and only 4 were right! Lots of babies are now safer in the car!

So I got rid of my spacious Chevy Impala and now have a compact Hyundai Elantra. I’m trying to figure out which car seat would fit best in a smaller car.?? The car seat will go behind the passenger so there will be a little more room to move the front seat up.
I got a car seat from a friend and a stroller online the carseat fits in the stroller but the shade won't close :( get a smaller car seat or keep it ?

We make sure the car is warm and then take his jacket off before he’s buckled in, put it back on when we’re getting out. He overheats easily anyway, especially when strapped in.

Never while in a harness seat, i put my son who is also 2 in his seat, strap it then put the coat on backwards with his arms in the sleeves.
