Thursday i went to the hospital bc i was in pain, feeling a LOT of pressure. They told me I was having contractions and dilated to 3.5 cm, 70%, and my son’s head was -1. They sent me back home because my contractions weren’t frequent enough...... any idea how soon i might go into labor?

@svbrxna, it’s probably going to be a back labor then. That’s how mine started.

@noahs.mommy, i thought they were braxton hicks too until i went to the hospital and they told me they were real contractions. I feel like a tightening pressure in the front and lower back pain. It sucks.

@svbrxna, they’re probably Braxton Hicks then. You’ll know when you’re actually having contractions unless you have a back labor then you might not know as well I had one and I was in labor for roughly 3 days and alllll my contractions were in my back so in the beginning I thought my back was just bothering me....so if you feel that way it’s probably back labor lol

@noahs.mommy, that’s what they told me but all i felt was pressure. I didn’t even know I was having contractions so I’m worried I won’t recognize them when i get them.

Yeah I kept getting sent home. When your contractions are 3-5 minutes apart lasting 1 minute they should keep you. My hospital admitted me when I was having back to back contractions and I was finally dilated to a 4
