I'm 36 weeks and dilated to a two already, with constant contractions everyday. How long did some of y'all take to fully dilate? Days? Weeks??

I'm 33 weeks and dilated to 2cm and contractions constantly too ...
I was at a 2 before my water broke. Then dilated to a ten in a few hours. Water broke at 9:30am and she was born at 2pm
I been walking this week so hopefully Monday I've dilated some!
How do you know if you are dilated? Does your water have to break so you can be dilated? I'm 38 weeks and I still don't feel labor stuff lol

Soooo I have decided that if by Monday I haven't dilated I'll opt for a c section.. Mostly likely they'll schedule that for sometime next week before or at 39 weeks. Because if by then I haven't dilated most likely I won't.. But if I have dilated I'll ask to be induced next week.
I was 2cm at 36 weeks and then went into labor at 39 weeks. I was 5cm when I was admitted.
