My childproofing for extremely active little boys (and girls if she is into everything) lol!!

1) Big gate around the Christmas tree

2) Lay the chairs down at the table to keep him from climbing on top

3) All cabinets locked

4) All sockets blocked

5) All doors to all rooms other than the one he plays in during the day are always kept shut (for me this is my living room and kitchen)

6) The entire room where he/she typically plays has nothing in reach that can fall over or cause harm

7) Floor is kept free of any small objects that could cause choking or illness

8) Blinds, and blind pull strings, are kept up out of reach when baby boy is awake

9) Gates in front of all stairs

10) All doors leading outside are kept deadbolted at all times (when he learns how to open these I will chain lock at the top)

So far this works great for my extremely active and destructive little boy! When he learns how to open doors, I’ll be putting blocks on those too lol!! I learn new things every day!! What else do you do to keep your little ones safe?

Soooooo jeb has been i guess clingy. For the last 3-4 days he has always tried to crawl to me or crawl out his room to me. Or he is in his walker and rolls over to me. He is now in his room crying at the door because he cant get out to get to me. He will be 1yr in a few weeks. Is this a leap thing or what??? #boymom #ftm

My son literally kept me up all night, would not sleep unless i was holding him. My husband gets home and still hasn’t helped me with him or anything. I’ve had a migraine all day and i literally am just about to take my son downstairs to his dad and go in my room and lock the door plus i have to work tomorrow and my husband doesn’t but he can make time to play video games of course 🙄
