How do you deal with your baby smacking? This past week whilst I’ve been working non stop, Arlo has started smacking all the time in everyone’s face. As soon as you pick him up he nips you really hard in the face and will not stop smacking and for a baby he’s got such a hard slap! Do they grow out of it? Or shall I just wrap him up in a box and send him over with the Christmas shoe boxes for someone else to deal with him 😂

I just give a firm no with a frown face. Then put them down. When playing/ having cuddles I show them how to be gentle with their hands. It's always usually a phase as long as your consistent with telling him no. I know many parents who laugh it off which just makes it into a game lol

Charlie used to do it, I used to just be firm and tell him no. Then he stopped for a while but he seems to be doing it again, I still tell him no but it doesn’t seem to have the same effect, so now I pretend to cry so he knows he’s hurt me 😂 then he looks upset, I ask him to give me a kiss and a cuddle and he does, give him one back and send him on his way x
