I believe my father had to actually ride to get his permit, around three years ago. I live in Missouri, so it might be different!

@raquely, my family is part bike life, I’ve been on the back of one several times just never driven one but know how to work one. My uncle won’t take me riding till after I have the baby and I get me permit.
