Is it normal when your 6month old wakes up screaming/crying 1-2 times a night. She keeps her eyes closed so I think she is asleep and dreaming still. I pick her up and try to wake her up. Are these night terrors or something? Never happends during the day
My son is over a year and he does this sometimes when he's asleep. Sometimes 1-2 times but that's it and he cries for a few seconds before going back to sleep.
@racheg138
My aunt's son is 6 now and he has had night terrors since he was 3 months old. He would scream and cry anywhere between 10-40 minutes until he either woke himself up or he would just stop and continue sleeping. Nothing could wake him, all that she could do is hold him and try to make him feel safe. It's such a heart breaking thing to deal with.
@damiensmommy1117 after a while she opens her eyes and settles down a little when she recognizes where she is. So I lay her next to us
It could be night terrors. Are you able to wake her up? Or does she stay screaming and crying?
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
So we got in super late last night. Had to carry my daughter to bed.
She had the nerve to try and wake me up at 7:30am saying she wanted breakfast. Smh (She wanted me to fix her a spread)🙄
I told her to choose some cereal. I'll fix her a bowl. Of course there wasn't any cereal that she wanted today 😴
I told her spoiled ass to figure it out and I went back to sleep 😂🤣
She ate an eggo.
Waking to feed?
My dd is a week old and I was told by her doctor to wake her every 2 hours during the day and 3-4 hours at night to feed her. For the first 3 days I did that and when I would wake her fit a night feeding she was fussy and usually wouldn't go back to sleep and would want to nurse constantly until about 9 am. I tried not waking her last night and she slept beautifully! She woke up around 6 hours in and ate then slept another hour or so and ate again. Is it ok to let her sleep?
So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours...
Her being up kicking at night in my belly is NOTHING compared to her waking & crying... lord I’m so sleepy 😩
@damiensmommy1117 that makes sense. I read somewhere that it can be caused from stress or pain or temperature. And she had just recently got her Shots a couple days ago and had a high fever after. That's when it all started. So hope the night terrors go away
