Okay so I might be stupid. But I see a lot of women posting about membrane stripping? What is that?
@cassidy11 my having babies time is over after baby boy. I have a 5 y/o stepson, my almost 3 year old daughter then baby boy debuting in March!
@noturprops, my SO wanted a boy i’m hoping i get a girl next time around but that won’t be for a few years because of the nexplanon i’m getting lol.
@cassidy11 we are polar opposites! I wanted a baby boy my first time but after having my daughter, this one, I just wanted to be healthy and I ended up with a boy! .
@cassidy11 I wish that's how mine went. I had to have the episotomy so he could use a suction. I had a fall a few days before my water broke. So we think that's why she was a bit crooked.
@noturprops, lol i won’t be having another kid any time soon but when i do i hope it’s a girl 🙄 i wanted a girl this time around but got blessed with a baby boy ❤️
@cassidy11 hahaha! I was a 27 year old who just prayed for the baby to come already! 🤣
@maesmommy04, i had to have an episiotomy because his head was a little too big but after he cut me he came out 2 pushed later lol
@noturprops, my epidural lasted from 1pm to 8pm. but i also had pain meds before that lol mind you i’m an 18 year old pansy with a low pain tolerance lol
@cassidy11 I had mine natural. I started pushing at 2. She was crooked so I had to have an episotomy. Every one said if she had been straight the nurse wpuld have barely caught her!
@cassidy11 I'm peanut butter jelly! They put my epidural in and it wore off long before time I started having the baby.
@noturprops, but i ripped on the inside and had an episiotomy.
@noturprops, lol, i pushed for 30 minutes. that epidural was the bomb lol
@cassidy11 dang! I wish I could have done that. I was in active labor for over 50+ hours pushed for 2 and she finally came!!
@cassidy11 I've been told that hurts bad. They did both times with my sister. Here's hoping my water breaks at home again. Cause it popped at 9:30am and my girl was born at 2:55pm. So much quicker and easier than my sister's pregnancies
@noturprops, it was soooo bad but all worth it in the end. i was induce at 8am and had my baby boy at 4:04 pm.
@cassidy11 wow...I'm happy I didn't have to have that done! God bless you Momma's!
@maesmommy04, the worst part was when they broke my water with this long plastic hook. lord i cried.
@cassidy11 so avoid it if possible got it. I remember just getting checked with my daughter hurt real bad. So I can only imagine how that would be
@noturprops, @maesmommy04, they use their hands and have to go really far in there and that’s painful on top of them having to pull the sac from the wall so it’s pretty uncomfortable/painful.
@maesmommy04, @noturprops, it’s painful to say the least.
I don't recall having that done honestly. I've seen a lot of posts about it too but didn't know what it was.
@cassidy11 ah okay. My water broke at home at 38 weeks 5 days with my daughter. With this one I have placenta previa so I may have to have a c section
@maesmommy04, i was 39 weeks and they induced me because i was 3cm and 70% effaced. i was only in labor for 5 hours and pushed for 30 minutes lol they not normally induce you unless there’s something wrong or they feel you won’t make it to your due date which is why they induced me. and i live so far from the hospital i gave birth at. so glad they asked if i wanted to be induced.
@cassidy11 eh, sounds scary. Lol when do drs usually do that? Mine never mentioned it nor with either of my sister's pregnancies
@maesmommy04, they stripped my membranes and then broke my water with a long plastic hook. it’s so you will start labor mostly.
Oh okay so basically they are wanting to speed up your water breaking? @skysmommy04 @badadvicemom @cassidy11
it hurts like hell but they push the sac away from your uterine wall.
The doctor pushing on the bag of water to separate it in hopes labor will staff
To put it simple it’s like a way to get labor going they go in digitally and hope it helps you dilate move along

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Things I never thought I'd say...
Until I became a mom:
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
It’s when you’re almost due and your doctor shoves his fingers in your vagina and separates the amniotic sac membrane from your uterus or cervix or something like that
