getting the birth control bar in my arm friday. opinions?

He can't force you to get it if you don't want it. It's your body. Not his. Do some research on other birth control and tell him which one you want and when he tries to push it on you tell him it isn't up to him. Doctors generally only push stuff like that because they get extra money if you take it.

I absolutely hated it. I bled a lot and very randomly sometimes for a month straight. Messed with my hormones. Made me gain weight. Caused pain around the bar in my arm.

That’s crazy that he wouldn’t give you a choice! But I have it, and had it. The last time I had it it gave me no problems, and I didn’t get a period the whole time I was on it. I had only got off because we decided to have another baby and I decided to get on it again. I’ve been on it for a month now and I haven’t had any problems again. Hopefully it’ll be good to you! 🤞🏼

my OB basically pushed it on me. wouldn’t let me take the pill or do the iud he didn’t give me a choice. 😒

Hated it bled everyday my mood was terrible made my depression 20x worse and made me super fat

I had the nexplanon also didn't like it gave me so much problem's. But You Could have a goof experience with it

Hated it bled constantly and was nauseous and had a headache all the time I removed it after three months I have the paragaurd and I like it so far
