question because im confused... my son is almost 5 months old. we took him to get his shots today and our dr said we could start cereal anytime now. well my wife and i were talking after the appt.... i always remember feeding the cereal to my younger brothers and sister... is that still how people do it? my wife said put it in his bottle... help please.
My doctor said I can give baby rice cereal yay !!!! He said good head control !!!!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Am I wrong for telling my Bd that because we not Married my baby don't have to have his last name? He really got mad and told me I was project n ignorant. Crazy part is I was thinking about giving my baby his middle and last name
Am i reading too far into this? So there is a couple that my hubby and i are friends with. He met the guy through one of his last jobs. We've known them for about 5 years. Well every time we hang out with them they wanna be outside and end up leaving me stuck in the house with the kids.. And in the past if they came over to drop their truck off(my hubbys a mechanic) and i wasn't home but world be soon, they wouldn't wait around to see me. But they always make sure to see my hubby. Well today they came to drop off the truck and my hubby was still on his way home and the guy said to the wife are you ready to go? And she said do you want to wait to see Thomas and the guy said idc its up to you and the wife said let's wait i wanna see Thomas. Then quickly said we like to see him when we can. And idk that just rubbed me the wrong way... Plus when they left the wife came in and told me they were leaving and i told her not to forget her purse and she said i know that's why i came in, well to say bye and to get my purse. Then she hugged both girls and left without hugging me. Yet she hugged my husband bye outside... Am i overreacting to be upset with her?

Good starting foods are: avocado, banana, applesauce, sweet potato. Pureed with breastmilk or formula. And remember: food before 1 is just for fun!! Starting them young lets them experiment with tastes, textures, chewing and swallowing.

@mommysbabies steamed veggies are really mushy and chew up easily. You want to start with sizes of their fingernails. They will gag at first but that's how they learn to chew.

Someone has a group. I'm terrible at explaining. We started with steamed veggies. Green beans, carrots, squash, zucchini then moved on to fruit. BLW you don't do purees they get whatever you're eating (with some exceptions like honey, eggs, peanut butter)

Start with a vegetable I was reading a book from a dietitian and she said starting with fruit can make baby have a sweet tooth and I’d start at 6 months

I wouldn't do cereal at all. No nutritional value and putting it in bottle is a choking hazard. Wait until baby is 6 months old then start solids. We skipped baby food altogether and did BLW

No. Cereal is artificial filler with no nutritional value. No need for it

Don’t put it in bottle and you don’t have to do it there is no nutritional value in it
