Anyone who's a mom do early development with their littles?
I plan to teach Graylynn stuff early like numbers and letters and colors and how to make sounds for animals. Im probably gonna start once she is crawling and try and do early development. Tim and I want to try have her ahead education wise and smart and stuff. Ima buy her flash cards and blocks and books to practice in when she's old enough. Im going to get her name laminated and get a dry erase marker so she can learn her writing and name and spelling.
I bought a kit called “Teach My Baby”. A mom on here recommended it to me. My daughter loves it! It teaches first words, numbers, sounds... we call it “school” and pull it out once a day
I worked at a childcare center and I was a teacher for all different ages and made lesson plans. So of course I want to teach my kiddo and make crafts/science experiments!
I can't believe it
My cousin stayed with me rent free from September 2015 to April 2016 and her stuff is still in my apartment. She's been saying she was going to come get her stuff for months. She text me this morning saying that she was going to come and get her stuff soon, and I asked her if I could have her air mattress. She tried to charge me $60 for it. The air mattress sells new for $35 on amazon and she didn't even pay $60 for it. I didn't respond and she just text me saying the $60 was...
I hate my generation sometimes ?
Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. Th...
So my SO has a 10 year old daughter and we just told her that we r having a baby boy.. she is not one bit happy about it... and she told me she hates the name... ik I shouldnt let it bother me but it kinda hurts a little... I've been trying to explain to her that since it's a boy by the time the kid is old enough to walk around and get into things she's going to be a teen and not want anything to do with the kid that much.. and I told her besides if I had a girl she would be all into your stuff ...
Dad's FB Video!!
Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
We did sign language. Milk, hungry, poop, bed time, cracker, banana. Then a few clothing signs. Socks, shoes, coat.
I knew a couple of these, but used some Pinterest pictures and made a board, also watched some baby sign dvds.
We waited till our toddler could talk to teach numbers and letters. Animal sounds we started early too, at least ones she would see; cat, dog, cows, horse, sheep and goats. I’m in Idaho, so farm lands and suck.
