She wants to be close to mom. Nothing you can do about that. Try swaddling her.

Have you tried elevating the mattress in the bassinet a little? My daughter didn't like laying flat. She slept in her swing for a couple of months.

Same with my son! Everytime he goes in the bassinet his eyes are wide open. I used to hide that fact that my son jus loves sleeping in my arms but now I realize that that works for my family and I. Plus I get lots of sleep!!!

@daniellejan, I’m scared about her sleeping in my arms you are right though she’ll sleep for like 5 hrs without waking up but I’m a first time mom and I.T scares me

@queentero bring the swing into your room for awhile then. My daughter transitioned from the swing to the bassinet with no issues. And she's been sleeping through the night since she was 2 months!

Rock in play was my life saver! She loved hers! It’s not a flat surface and I think it makes baby feel safer. It’s only like 40 bucks and my girl slept in it until she was 6 months old

@queentero, everyone parents different. If co sleeping doesn’t seem safe to you than don’t. WHATEVER you got to do to get some sleep. The swing would be a quick fix because you already have one, but all mommies and all babies are different. Just have to toy around and see what works for you and your baby

@liz41395, yes I agree I mean you are correct I would love for her to sleep with us but sometimes I get scared I’m going to try the rock n play thank you
