Ughhhh. Why did we unexpectedly get hit with $1,200+ of bills ALL due BEFORE Christmas. Fuuuuuck. This always seems to happen every year😞 I wish there was a way I could make some quick money to help. This is the downside of staying at home for me.. I feel so helpless. And poor hubby is so stressed. 😭 does this shit happen to any of you? Or are we the only “lucky” ones????

I just posted about this, this morning. I was forced to take an early maternity leave because I work in construction and they couldn't get the proper safety equipment to keep me working so they told me I had to take my maternity leave at 22 weeks.. only 6 weeks paid. I've been out of work for 2 weeks now and still haven't started receiving my 6 week pay and my fiance is working 7 days a week 10 hour shifts to keep us afloat. We have $800 worth of bills this week, $800 worth of bills last week, and no money for presents, saving, grocery shopping or anything extra... It's super stressful for me as I have been working since I was 15 paying for my own stuff and always being able to help out. We have never really had to struggle and even though he makes plenty of money when all the bills fall at the same time its tough. This time of year is extremely stressful and depressing and being almost 24 weeks pregnant no where wants to hire me part time or even full time for the next 3-4 months... because once our baby is here I will be a stay at home mom but it is extremely tough to swallow the fact that I'm pretty much useless and there is nothing I can do to help out.. I feel your pain.☹☹

@nitarose070793, my mom would totally help if she knew , but we don’t want her to help cuz she does soooo much for us already.. and it’s still money we’d own anyways, lol

@j.andtaysmama I get that. My mil cut our rent in half as a present to us. And we just have to pay tithing and help out at church which we both have callings so we don't owe anytbing which is nice. But I get that.
