@taylormightknow, yes very expensive I didn’t realize till I had moved out and staying on my own... thank you❤️I hope everything does also.. and everyone is telling me that but I just want her to have the best Christmas and won’t have to keep seeing her mother struggle.. but I’m always gonna make sure she is ok no doubt❤️

@taylormightknow, same thing I said when we first found out I was pregnant he went to work made sure he went to work than one day he’s just like he’s gonna quit and find another job and I don’t know why because the job he was at was a good paying job! Enough to buy $150 of groceries and still pay bills & have extra left over... and he’s way older than me so I atleast thought he would want to do the right thing... and plus I’m tired of asking his mom & father for money..

@believeinbuddha, you just gave me the best ideas ever!! But now that my daughter is 3 she wants everything she sees... I don’t want to spend a lot of money but I do want her to get what she’s asked for atleast two or three of those things... maybe I might just do the cookie thing never done it before! Or have a Christmas movie night on Christmas Eve with cookies and hot chocolate and just chill and lay around.. I really love that Santa idea❤️❤️❤️❤️thank you so much this brightened me up a lil more so much money I don’t have to spend now.. Also kids like opening the gifts so maybe get some big empty boxes and fill them with tissue paper and a small gift then wrap them. She will have so much fun with those I promise. That is what I did for my kids first christmas

I'm the same way. I go all out but I'm on welfare this year and don't have my own place but I am making the best of it. I can't even get a tree. My tree is made of felt and is 12" tall but that's MY tree and my daughter got one gift which was $8 for Christmas also had to buy a stroller for her so I'm wrapping that too. And I'm happy with that. I tried my best this year and that's what matters. Remember to go Christmas caroling and light seeing and stuff. Those are the special things

@kiracox123 well like I said you can do crafts which are more special and meaningful and shop at the dollar store or 99 cent store whatever type of discount store you have. I will tell you this; your one year old won't care how much you spent on those toys. Yes they're not baby toys there so you'll have to be mindful of what you pick but you can still get something for her. Even two gifts is ENOUGH you don't need to have dozens like that's why I get so mad this time of year people think they need to buy so much crap for their kids but the gift buying is for US not them. They don't care how much we spend or what they get that at age its all about the traditions and having fun!!! So get a couple cheap gifts and wrap them. Put one of two under the tree and save one for when Santa comes. Make a big deal about Santa leave cookies for him and read a book. On Christmas eve before she goes to sleep get flour and a pair of boots and make it look like Santa came down from the chimney or in the front door if you don't have one. It makes it so fun for them!!
