How often should I be bathing my couple day old newborn ? How should I bathe her? Any advice/tips/tricks would be very helpful 💝
@sriju10514, I would think that would be okay as long as the baby is staying in the home and not around a lot of people. I just brought my son home from the NICU and they suggest I wash as less as possible because it doesn’t do their skin any good.
On the days when I don’t want to give her a full body bath because of the weather I just wash her privates over the sink (:
@kye, that’s what my husband said as well.. I think that’s what we will try. Although, it’s winter so maybe we can get away with every 3-4 days?
I was told to bathe my baby every two-three days unless he has an explosion. The method I was taught that takes very long is to keep the baby wrapped and go part by part washing as you go. For instance wash and dry the head, then face, then stomach etc....this method is for keeping the baby warm. However I find it much quicker to just wash the entire body all at once.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I honestly only bathed my son once a week. I’m a big believer in not bathing them every day, unless they get into something or like you said an explosion. Especially because they need to be exposed to germs to build their immunity. So up until my son was almost one, once a week baths and then now we do maybe to or three, depending on the week. And knock on wood, he rarely gets sick.
Also, LOOK at all that hair!!
