Has anyone had a D&C hysterscopy/biopsy of the uterus done? That was NOT for a miscarriage.
I had this done a few weeks ago and I have an appointment with my dr next Monday. I was supposed to go in sooner after my surgery but they had no openings till 3 weeks later (is what the appt lady told me, thanks for the help lady 🙄).
Does anyone know how long pathology results take? I’m assuming I would’ve heard word if I had bad results by now. But then again 5 years ago when I was diagnosed with cancerous cervical cells I didn’t hear back for a few weeks.
Lol I’m preparing for the worst but hoping for the best.
Between waiting on these results and receiving the rest of my wedding photos, I don’t know what I’m more anxious for! 😳😵

Usually (if they already have your results) no call is a good sign. Most doctor offices only call you in sooner if they have "bad" news

Every office is different, but I work for a high risk/oncology gynecologist. Our pathology comes back anywhere from 4-14 days later. But length of time has nothing to do with how bad the pathology is, so don’t worry about that! Because it was a surgery case, they should call you with results even if they’re good news. My doctor also waits to do results in person rather than over the phone.

@ash621, Good information to know. Yeah, my doctor has never done results over the phone which is why I have my appointment to see her. I’m a lot less worried than I was right after lol, so I really don’t think it’s a bad result
