So emotionally there's the hard news. But practically it's been so messy. My family came from Newcastle and arrived at 11pm. Mum cooked and brought me meals so I don't have to worry all week. They enjoyed Hamza and Zaid and left today as they have school and work tmmrw. Physically having them round was helpful but quite demanding. My stitches are absolutely killing me. 2nd degree tear. My husband has left tonight to go visit my BIL and SIL and to offer whatever support he can. That however means I've been left with 2 kids 1 day after giving birth and I'm actually really struggling with pain. Tomorrow he has to attend the funeral and help with burial services. Everyone in the family is also attending and we really struggled to find any support for me. Luckily one SIL is staying behind. But she has school duties with her kids and her kids tend to be a mess as they hate going school. Beggars can't be choosers so I'll be round hers tmmrw.

Awe hun, so sorry for the news! I wish we lived closer...I would come and help you out! In whatever way I could xx Ask your SIL to take the boys for 40 mins so you can have a soak in the bath...will help with the swelling/soreness down there. Also sit on a towel rolled up into a circle..or see.if you can get a kids swimming ring..will take the pressure.off your bits xx

..I swear it was so much cheaper 2 years ago! But yeah it was a godsend...it worked like the towels rolled up/swimming ring. But yeah i just put that down and sat on it! Relieved so much pressure of my bits! Xx
@winterbaby95 Thank you so so much for this. Really means alot. I'm so lucky, Zaid has gone down for bed tonight and I've just fed hamza and because he's newborn he should be asleep for a little bit. I'm just getting the tub ready rn because these stitches are absolutely killing. I need all the advice I can get to sit down because it's what I'm struggling the most with! Will defo try the towel
