I gave birth 5am and I was discharged and home by 6pm same day.
As we enter the house and are introducing Zaid to his new baby brother, we get a text - My BIL's FIL, the person who introduced me and hubs to each other, an incredibly strong and amazing man who was a huge influence on my husbands life - Passed away. My husband has neither parents and this person was introduced into his life after he lost his mother, he showed him so much love and guidance.
He had been struggling with MND for 6 years now. He entered hospital a week ago and we all had a terrible feeling that near about my sons birth we would be faced with this tragedy. But never did any of us think it would be on the day...

So sorry to hear your loss. May his soul rest in peace. My father died the day my baby was born so I can well understand how hard it is to cope with a bitter sweet time.thoughts are with you n family xx

@noshinxoxo, thanks dear.Allah tests us through trials and hard times.all we can do now is to pray for the departed souls. Life is moving rapidly without him but a part of me never stops missing him.i couldn't attend his funeral that left me more shattered 😢
