Does everyone need to have a glucose test when pregnant? Midwife hasn't mentioned it to me at all!

I had one the other day.. they mentioned about it affecting larger women, older women, women from Asian and African Caribbean backgrounds (that's me) so I'm not sure everyone is tested.

TBH diabetes runs through my dad's side so it might be just to test to check if history in the family.

I'm waiting to hear.

They did a good job at trying to find my veins.. meaning they struggled and made my arm sore. But all is ok 👌🏽

Mine is according to my midwife, still didn't mention anything about the test. And my baby brain forgot all about it!! 🙊

No you only need it if baby Is measuring rather large x
