Ok I wasn't going to post this because I try to not worry as much as I can but I'm really confused. I went to the ob Friday she said I'm still measureing big like Everytime right 39cm this week. She gave me a maternity belly band and then told me if my uterus gets to big they might have to schedule a c section.....??? What...... and I said but I thought that was if the baby was big she said yes you baby could be too big ...... But when I went to get a ultra sound 3 weeks ago she was a good size and only estimated to be 8 ish lbs at 40 weeks that's not big..... Can I refuse this c section if I don't think it's necessary is there like birth regulations that I can look up or something?

I believe you can, unless they feel like you would be putting your body in danger. BUT you can always go for a second opinion somewhere else as well and see what they say.

I scheduled a c-section but did not want one at all. The day before my c-section I went to labor and delivery and they said that it’s your body and you can refuse a c-section if you want too. So I refused.... the only time you probably shouldn’t refuse is if there’s danger or a serious problem but it’s ultimately up to you

@shaneen32 @littleonemorning @alyssa_hoffmaster thanks i guess im just freaking out for no reason one of the ladies at my job said last year when she had her daughter they tried to make her give birth before Christmas too coming up with a whole bunch of stuff to get her to give birth early they induced her 3 days before Christmas and she went home Christmas Eve😖😖

@skarletlady, you have every right to freak out! Especially if you feel it isn’t necessary! Do what you gotta do momma. You know what’s best.

@skarletlady yes you can turn down a c-section! The only way you shouldn't is if you or baby is in danger. At this point it's very hard to tell if the baby is bigger like they claim. Normally that is caught earlier on and you shouldn't go by what they are saying now. They could be right or they could be off and you could end up with a smaller baby then expected and possibly have issues.

@alyssa_hoffmaster that would be nice if we didn't already plan to be on alert or in the hospital at that time we already have a plan and people have made their schedules fit. Now I might have to find different babysitters for my son😖
