For some women who have PCOS they may not know they are preg because the doctors have either told them it's impossible or the symptoms of preg mimic other things so they ignore it. My friend did not know she was pregnant until she was 7 months along. She's a heavy set girl with PCOS, and also highly educated -- jet setting around the country for various computer companies -- so it's not like she's uninformed. She was told pregnancy would never happen for her. Imagine her surprise when a doctor tested her at a routine office visit. 😐
