This is my first pregnancy and so far I think it's been pretty smooth however recent events have me worried. I've been having blurred vision and massive headaches out of nowhere, followed by random body parts going numb. I know headaches and numbness in the limbs are common but it spreads to my face and mouth. Yesterday I couldn't even speak right. I feel like im having a stroke its terrible. I went to the dr and they are trying to refer me to a nurologist but the first one wouldnt take me because im pregnant. What if something is REALLY wrong with me and nobody will help? I felt like I should have went to thw ER last night but what are they going to do if a specialist wont even touch me?😕 this is scary and I really don't like it 😢

That is super scary! So your blood pressure is not high? I would start making some calls on my own!

No my bp is great. The only thing i have is gestational diabetes and my sugars have been just fine also. Who do I even begin calling? I dont even know where to start other than my ob that i saw yesterday

If it’s in your face/mouth it might be Bell’s Palsy. My sister had it during her pregnancy, scary but usually clears up quickly after the pregnancy. I hope you can find a specialist or another doctor who can shed some light on it and get you feeling better!
