Nope not at all loll. Your spotting can be from implanting. If it's not heavy or bright red no worries.

@michellelovecool27 I totally understand! Not judging you in any way! Spotting can be completely normal or it can mean something more is going on. It just depends on the amount, and the color. Sitting for long periods of times would not be a cause. The only way to know if its cause for concern is research and your own educated hypothesis, or an ultrasound/doctors opinion (stating the obv, i know.. lol). But it can be normal and its pretty common. @thevloggymommy Vagina, Vulva.. Same thing when related to the context of the original question. She must have meant sitting on your butt for extended periods of time since, when we as female's sit its on our butts that we put pressure on.

@simplyshantell, she understandably said vagina meaning her vulva but did not use scientifically correct terminology. I’m sure there are a lot of people who have done the same but do you see how someone saying “your statement made no sense” instead of “Spotting can occur for many reasons...” comes off as rude? Especially for someone who is new to this app and is trying to make new mom friends.

@thevloggymommy I think at @raquely subliminaly was saying by her statement "i dont see how its possible to sit on your vagina?" Lol because its easy to misinterpret with that type of wording. I doubt anyone meant to be be rude, its just confusing the way this post is written. Regardless, spotting and "sitting on your vagina" for too long wouldnt be a cause for spotting. Spotting can be a result of many things during pregnancy, such as hormones and subchorionic hematomas, as well as old blood shedding from the uterine lining early on. They say if its dark blood then its most likely attributed to something non harmful because dark means old. Only a doctor and an ultrasound can know for sure what the cause is, but i doubt it would ever be from sitting too long. Thats unheard of..

And @raquely I worded it weird but I was just saying I was spotting on top of feeling that feeling and asked if it was normal.

@raquely, she didn’t say that it was caused by sitting she mentioned that her vagina feels like she’s been sitting on it to long. Also your response didn’t seem too welcoming, my sister is new to this app and is a very sweet person. Maybe you weren’t trying to be mean but saying that what she said made no sense comes off as rude.
