I need help with bathing. Now Ava loves baths but she knows when it’s time to wash her hair. She doesn’t like water anywhere near her head or face. I can’t tip her back because she’ll go into a frenzy. What do I do?
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
At what age do you stop bathing with your child? This lady on this other app has a picture up of her and her 5 year old son bathing together. Personally, I wouldn't do it.
FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.

Try using just a washcloth. Wipe her head and wring it out over her head.

We hung a little battery powered lantern that flashes colors from the shower curtain bar and when we need him to look up and back we turn it on and he’s so captivated he barely notices the water, plus he’s got his head tipped back so it runs away from his face. I hope you find something that works for you, it’s the worst when they’re so scared of it!

@kambam, tell her to look at the ceiling and do it really fast and use your hand at her hair line then repeat. My mom had to do that with me too
