Has anyone set up a bank account for their little one which they put bits of money in? Any advice on how to go about this?
@michellewiggins1985, just phone and book it in with your doctors, might as well x
@hayleyf oh okay hun. You'll defo find one then x
@hayleyf I'm hoping I will get a letter for mine but will ring in 2 weeks if not. I would rather he has them on the 3rd of January x
@michellewiggins1985, I only got an appointment because I asked and the nurse told me to go to reception and book it. It should be 27th December but they have booked mine a week later on 3rd January because of Christmas x
@hayleyf no I didn't even get an appointment for this one it's only cos I enquired last week. I would imagine they are due the 27th of December but might be slightly later because of Christmas x
@michellewiggins1985, have you had an appointment when the next jabs are for Oliver? Layla has settled now but keeps letting out random cries x
@michellewiggins1985, two in one leg, one in the other and the stuff in her mouth. How about u?x
@hayleyf exactly the same was fine up to half hour ago and now keeps screaming. How many injections did she have? X
@michellewiggins1985, she has been fine all afternoon, and then about half an hour ago started screaming like I’ve never heard before, has got a lump on her leg which I think might be hurting her, so just gave her another dose of paracetamol. How’s your little man been with them?x
@hayleyf how's Layla been since her injections? X
Thanks @michellewiggins1985 and @kshelley, I’ll have a look at them later x
@hayleyf my daughter has one with Halifax and you can withdraw the money x
Ye I have one with Halifax, I can't remember what it's called but this one you can take money out whenever. I chose this one because we were given quite a bit of money off family and friends when he was born, so I put it in the bank, and plan to use it as and when we need it. I'm setting up a direct debit from mine to his each month as well. X
@mum2sky, thanks Hun. I wanted one where we could take money out if we wanted to, just in case it’s needed for anything x
We have one for each of the girls too. We put money each week in and it's with bank of Scotland it's a jnr savers account as the interest on this was higher compared to the isa at the time we opened it. You just go to a bank or building society and take baby's birth certificate n open an account. Check the different rates first x x
I have. My daughter has a junior isa with nationwide. I put money in every week and she can't touch it till she's 18 and I can't take money out of it either x
@hayleyf can't do that at my doctors but I will phone them x
