Went down to the state to get my health insurance fixed and I was approved on the spot and that was Friday. Well I was supposed to go to the doctor tomorrow and get an ultrasound but my doctors office called me and told me they have to cancel my appointment because it looks like I have no insurance from what their system is telling them. I’m so damn annoyed right now

@tholliswilliams, girl DES SUCKS, they did this to me a few weeks before I had my son. I had to renew my insurance and they denied me. I was like um I’m about to pop out a baby and I swear if I’m not covered I’m coming after you guys. They are terrible to deal with

They should be able to back date any bills! So they should still be able to see you!

@kreese88, really?? Yeah the girl at the front desk called me yesterday to confirm my appointment and to let me know it wasn’t showing that I had insurance and she called me again today and left me a voicemail saying she had to cancel my appointment because it looked like I wasn’t covered

@kcamps, yes most drs out here do that but because it’s state Insurance they are supposed to back date. This happened to me when I was pregnant with my middle son. They still saw me just billed the insurance company

@kreese88, now that I think about it that’s what my other doctors office did when I was pregnant with my son. I went through a few issues with my insurance through the state and at one point I had no insurance but they still saw me... I’m going to call them tomorrow, should I ask why they still can’t see me?
