HELP!!!! I have a sick toddler for the first time ever. Seems to be a minor cold. Hasnt been sick until now. Runny nose and congestion. Is a little warm but not fever temp yet. Any suggestions? Should we take her for a peds visit?

Can try Zarbees cough syrup for her. Also use a humidifier in her room to help her breathe better.

@theinkedmommy so no cough yet..we have one, ive added some eucalyptus oil to it. Hoping it works

Usually his doctor doesn’t want to see him unless it’s a super high fever, or has lasted 3 days, breathing problems, or he’s really not acting himself. Of course if I insist they’ll see him, but usually we wait a few days and see how he feels.
Sleeping with the mattress propped at an angle is a recommendation we were given for congestion. Vicks baby rub or Maty’s. (Maty’s smells better and seems to work just as well as Vick’s.) Saline spray usually works for him, but a sucker too.

Hylands may work too but I use Zarbees honey medicine too and elevate head and use Vick's on the bottoms of the feet
