It’s been almost two weeks and I haven’t gotten around to introduce my newest member. Alexandria Mae. For a while, while I was pregnant I had kept feeling pressure down there and it had been on my mind for a while so on November 14th, 6am I messaged my doctor about and if I should be worried about it. Knowing that the clinic didn’t open until 8 I was hoping that they would message back by the time I woke up again. I woke up around 9-10 and saw I had a message from the doctor and she said that if I continued to feel pressure even while sitting and standing then I should go to the hospital and get checked to see how far I dialated I was. I told my husband this and he asked me if I felt pressure while sitting and I said yes and showed him how far I couldn’t close my legs, then he asked me if I felt pressure while standing up and I said a little but I could close my legs. So around 11-12 we went to the hospital just to be on the safe and get checked. We go in, they check me and ask me why I’m there and I said “well I messaged my doctor about feeling pressure and she said that if I continue to feel pressure to come here and get checked” and then the nurse asked me if I felt any contractions and I said no, and that’s when she told me I was dialated to 7cm. My jaw dropped. She said that I was having the baby that day. My jaw dropped even more. Around 3:15 they broke my water and THEN I started feeling my contractions. Around 5 they gave me this thing where it makes your contractions stronger hopefully making your cervix open more and quickly, that was the worst. I’ve never had contractions like those before and of coarse I said no epidural until it was too late. They had me laying on my side. Apparently I was dilated to a 9cm but my cervix still wasn’t open so having me on my side would help. I waited probably an hour on my side in pain. At one point during a contraction all I could say was “shit”. I couldn’t breathe or think, so apparently the only thing my brain could come up with was cussing through contraction lol. I was told not to push because it could be dangerous and hurt both me and the baby but there was one point I couldn’t help but push, it was all my own body’s doing and I was trying so hard not to. Then I finally got to lay on my back and I had to remind myself not to push so I tried to say to myself was “oh yea don’t push” and the nurse asked what I said so my hush told them ad they said “yes that’s right not yet” then as soon as they said that I immediately felt the need to push during a contraction and I said “wait push now, maybe?” And they said no :( then in the middle of the night nurses coming onto shift, one of them checked my cervix and I just so happened to open my eyes, there was so much blood on this poor girls hand and I said “wow that’s a lot of blood” and of coarse they say “it’s ok that’s supposed to happen”. And then I FINALLY get to push. And man, let me tell you about that ring of fire, this baby’s body was nothing BUT hair. The worse burn I’ve ever felt in my entire life! And it felt like her head was ginormous! I finally got my baby girl out that same day at 6:58. And she was screaming and looking everywhere and I got to hold her as soon as she came out and her daddy cut the umbilical cord. Then all of a sudden after pushing out the placenta felt burning again but only on one side and the doctor said “it’s ok we are numbing you up to stitch you”. NUMBING MY ASS I FELT EVERYTHING!!! That shit hurt! But thankfully it was only 2 stitches. After a half hour of holding her I got to breast feed, and after that they finally weighed and measured her. 7lbs 8oz and 18” long.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Checked in at 4am february 1st.. started my pitocin drip at 5. I was 3cm dilated when i checked in. Things were progressing pretty slowly until my doctor broke my water at 7 am. I got my epidural done when i was 7 cm dilated, my nurse came in to check me and said baby was in plus 1 station. From there it went rather quickly, once my cervix was complete, she did practice pushes with me, i did 3 practice pushes with a few contractions and she said not to practice push anymore because baby was crowning already. She went and got my doctor, 2 real pushes later and baby was out ! I have 2 tears, 6 stitches, and ones a 2nd degree. We got released the next day ! So glad to be home but its very stressful that my daughter isnt adjusting well. Jeremiah wayne havis, born at 10:56 a.m. february 1st, weighing 6 pounds 1 ounce at birth, 19 1/2 inches long. When we checked out he was 5 pounds 14 ounces. Born at 38 weeks 6 days!
