Got ya. I wouldn't let them induce unless medically necessary. But yeah. Natural and you have a plan b if needed. Good luck girl

@kambam, thanks I didn't know they offered all those tools to aid in natural birth. I'm gonna try to go natural and labor as long as possible but since it's my first don't know what to expect. Thank you for all of your tips

To be honest. You have up until 7cm to elect for it. You can go natural and when you feel like it is too much or can't do it just get it before 7cm. I did mine and they gave too much and i couldn't walk for 2 days. It was terrible.

@beemommyof3, see I'm super nervous cause it's my first I would like to do natural if I can get through pain. My sis got epidural she said it only numbed one side . She has back problems now too.

I did both. Epidural sucked and left me with back pain. I will never do that again in life. Natural birth went super smooth but it was my 3rd so it may have just been because I have been through the process before. Once you get to the point you can't take the pain anymore it is pretty much over

With both my girls I waited as long as I could before I got the epidural. I don’t regret getting it at all. And I will get one again this time 😂

Natural is easy recovery but takes some willpower to do. You should have someone at the birth who will support you and encourage you to finish and go natural. Mom, sister, doula, friends. There are many pain management options for natural such as: bath or shower, counter pressure massage, labor positions, laboring balls, tens unit, nitrous oxide inhaler. Ask your hospital what they can provide for a natural birth at your tour! If you're going natural it also helps to rest as much as possible before suspected labor and eat a decent meal before you labor at the hospital.
