My son is almost 2 & is constantly taking his diaper off as soon as he pees. We bought him a little potty & he goes every so often on it. He’s regressed several times from falling in the big potty lol, to to much pressure I guess. He half understands what to do & he’s a quick learner... so how do I potty train a boy?
We’ve done fruit loops in the potty & he goes fishing, as soon as he gets up we go to the potty & before he gets in the tub he goes potty... what else can I do?

We did m&ms or u can use whatever your sons favorite candy is, if he went pee in potty he got one and if he went #2 he got two. We also just stop putting pull ups on him completely, there will be a few accidents but he’ll lean he doesn’t like the feel of wet underwear

So ditch the diapers completely & put him in underwear?

Do you scold him when he takes the diaper off? Also I have heard some parents got their child to go to the bathroom when they went with them or had a stuffed animal that shows them how to and that it is safe to do. Some kids are just afraid of the noise or falling in the bigger toilet. But if his dad or you go with him he can gain confidence and not feel as afraid. My parents offered a toy to my brother when he would go to the bathroom, but my dad also went with him.

Have you gotten the little potty seat that fits into the big toilet? It prevents their little tush from falling in.
My mom always did a reward system and she took away diapers/pull ups

They actually make little boy urinals with suction cups to stick on the wall. He might like it better, try googling it!

@lisaadamsphone, I say those & def want to order one. I’m not sure if a fam member already got it though since his bday is right around the corner
