Mirena iud!! I got it in early October and I'm still spotting my dr. Said it will go away just give it 3 months from when i got it. It's just so annoying feels like I been having a period since then. I haven't had a sex life since I got it and it sucks. My regular period only last 3 days, so yeah I'm beyond annoyed with it right now. What's your experience with the iud??

Ahh I'm getting that on Tuesday, did it hurt when they put it in? And did you notice a weight gain with it? Sorry for the questions I don't know what to expect with it lol

It's okay and pain wise.. yeah it hurt a little it feels like pitching accompanied with some pain. But nothing compared to contractions or child birth. You do get cramps almost immediately after. Your ob will explain everything, mine told me to take ibuprofen for the cramps. Feels weird for the first day you can feel it in there but that goes away after. And no I haven't noticed any weight gain. I've only had for almost 2 months, and don't worry ask all the questions. And I'll tell you my experience.

I was on the Iud for 3 years and the first 7 months I was spotting, it was the ultimate birth control for me and my man lol. but then it fell out!! 😣 I was freaking out, those things are supposed to last for 5 years. I will never get the iud again.
